ARRIVING AT YOUR APPOINTMENT
We do our best to be punctual and ask that you assist us in this by arriving 10 minutes prior to your appointment.
Please complete your New Patient Questionnaire. We encourage you to complete this prior to your appointment, and it can be easily accessed via our website or emailed to you by reception.
Patient safety is important to us, so in this era of COVID-19 we strongly encourage the wearing of masks in the waiting areas or take advantage of our outdoor seating area if you prefer.
We ask that you re-schedule your appointment if you are experiencing a fever, runny nose, coughing, headache, diarrhoea, or have tested positive to COVID-19. We ask the same should you be experiencing any other form of cold, flu or contagious illness. Please allow at least 7 days recovery before attending your appointment, following a diagnosis of COVID-19. This is for your safety and the safety of other patients.
We are located in the Pelago East building opposite the Best Western Hotel, facing Warambie Road. Please note that parking time limits are enforced on Warambie Road and Sharpe Avenue. There are further free parking spaces available in the covered car-park at the rear of the building, which can be access by turning right off Sharpe Avenue just before the entry to Warambie Estate.
If you need to change your appointment, we ask that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice. We understand emergencies happen, but please also understand that without notice, we cannot offer your time slot to somebody else in need.
We will help you to remember your appointment by sending an SMS reminder, 2 days prior to your appointment. Please reply to this SMS so that we know you will be attending. If we do not receive a reply, we will attempt to call you. If you are not contactable, we will email you to advise your appointment may be cancelled if we do not hear back from you within a given time frame.
Non-refundable booking fees are taken when making an appointment of 80 minutes duration or longer, because we are reserving such a large portion of the Dentist’s appointment schedule for you.
ACCOUNTS AND FEES
Please remember to bring your private health insurance card with you if you have private health cover for dental treatment, otherwise we are unable to use the HICAPS facility to claim your rebate immediately. If you do not bring your card you will need to claim via your Private Health Fund.
Please be aware that all accounts are required to be settled in full at the time of the appointment. We do not like anyone to experience ‘bill shock’, so our friendly staff are always happy to provide you with an estimate of the fees. If you require the assessment of the dentist to determine what emergency treatment is required, please be aware the dentist will happily give you a fee estimate after assessing the problem, before any treatment is completed.
