Patient Experience

Appointments:

We know that your time is valuable, so we always try to be punctual for your appointment and ask that you do the same.  We want to have the full appointment time allocated with you so that we can thoroughly address your needs and concerns.

If arriving a little earlier we have a comfortable lounge area where you can relax, read one of our magazines or just watch some TV.

Please note that we require at least 24 hours notice in case of an appointment cancellation or to reschedule.  If this amount of notice is not given a fee may apply because we are then unable to offer that appointment time to another patient.

 

Yes! We have TV on the roof!  Lay back and relax during your appointment and enjoy catching up on the news or a favorite television program.

 

Accounts:

Settlement of your account is required on the day.  We have HICAPS available, which means if you have your private health insurance card you can simply swipe it and your insurance company will pay the portion you are covered for. Then, all that is left is to settle the gap amount. EFTPOS, Visa, Mastercard or cash are accepted.

We accept all Private Health Funds and are also HBF Member’s Plus and Medibank Private Member’s Choice providers

 

 

 Treatment Plans:

After your examination appointment, we will create a personalised treatment plan for you and explain what each item means.  This is our best estimate of the treatment required and costs involved.  It will also give you an idea of the number appointments required to complete your treatment.

Unfortunately are not able to control the rebate that your Private Health Fund gives you, as this depends on your level of cover, but your treatment plan will contain details that will allow you to contact your Private Health Fund when you get home so that you have an idea of the likely gap amount at each visit.

Remember that this plan is our best ESTIMATE. Not every surgical procedure can be predicted 100%, but rest assured if any changes are likely we will always discuss this with you before proceeding.

 

Veterans Affairs and Child Dental Benefits Schemes:

We are happy advise that we accept patients under the Department of Veterans Affairs Scheme and are also happy to provide treatment for eligible patients under the Child Dental Benefits Scheme.

If you are eligible for these schemes, please advise us when you call to inquire as eligibility needs to be verified before an appointment can be made.
